WHAT TYPE OF PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICE DO YOU OFFER?

I focus mostly on family, baby, Maternity, portrait photography, engagements, pre-wedding, and intimate wedding.

For babies, I normally shoot in my home-based studio and in winter /cold months.

For summertime, I would like to take beautiful photos of you outdoors or in the comfort of your home. The choice is yours!

WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?

My Fine Art White studio style is a tribute to simplicity and timelessness, particularly in the realms of baby, maternity, and portrait photography. I specialize in capturing the unique and pure beauty of your baby, the radiant glow of maternity, and the essence of your family’s portraits, all without any distracting elements.

What sets my Fine Art style apart is the special floral element that elevates it into a piece of art, rather than just a documentary or lifestyle photograph. This unique touch adds an artistic layer to your images, turning them into stunning, one-of-a-kind creations.

In a world of ever-changing trends, white remains a timeless color, making my photographs seamlessly complement any home decor style. HOW TO CHOOSE AN OUTFIT FOR PHOTOS?

It would largely depend on the specific situation, some special situations require a special wardrobe. Generally, I recommend that you wear comfortable clothing that makes you feel good and reflects your personal style. Avoid clothes with bold patterns or bright colors as they can be distracting in photos. I also recommend coordinating outfits with your partner or family members. If you need assistance with wardrobe selection, please let me know, and I will be happy to provide guidance.

For newborns, I recommend having baby photographed in a plain white onesie, just a diaper, or swaddled in blankets.

As they are your photos, I always welcome outfits you have brought from home as well. I recommend avoiding graphic images and logos as they take the focus away from baby, and distract from the simplicity and emotion in the images.

HOW DO YOU EDIT THE PHOTOS AND WHAT DOES IT MEAN BY “HAND RETOUCHED”

Every photo package includes hand retouching (edited by me, I never outsource the editing part to ensure the consistency in my style) , which involves sharpening features, correcting uneven lighting, camera lens distortion, and color casts. Additionally, for baby photos, I also retouch their skin by removing red patches, rashes, scratches, dry skin flakes, bumps, and bruises, which are common during the crawling and walking stages.

The reason for this standard is that high-resolution photos capture every detail, and I believe that impermanent features don’t need to be preserved in high definition. My aim is to maintain a natural appearance, so I meticulously edit each image by removing marks one by one, resulting in a subtle look

From a snort in your laugh to a silly dance, I’ll capture every moment of your session with my camera. Also, my editing style is strong and vibrant colors that are film-like.

DO YOU ACCEPT WALK-IN IN YOUR STUDIO?

Due to the nature of having a home-based studio, I do not accept walk-ins. You are welcome to send an email to ask if I have had any recent cancellations.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET OUR PHOTOS?

The turnaround time for your photos will depend on the type of photoshoot and the number of images taken.

For Portrait, Kids and Family, we can give you 1-2 images in the next day and deliver the Gallery in 7 days (I know clients love to see the photos as soon as possible). For Elopement or Wedding, I usually take 2 week to edit and retouch the images and deliver them to you. We will provide you with an estimated delivery date and keep you updated throughout the process.

DO YOU OFFER PRINT OR ALBUM?

Yes, we offer a variety of print and album options for our clients. From fine art prints to photo albums, we have something for everyone. We can also help you with the design and layout of your album if you’d like. Please let us know if you’re interested in ordering prints or an album, and we’ll provide you with more information.

DO YOU TRAVEL FOR PHOTOSHOOTS?

Yes, we do travel for photoshoots. We are based in Toronto but we are happy to travel to your location for your photoshoot. Additional travel fees may apply, please let us know your location and we will provide you with more information
